Another day of healthy eating. I tried out this simple recipe I just thought out on the fly. I first prepared my string beans I blanched them in hot water and shocked them in cold water. Next is the bean sprout stir fry. I just tossed any spices and condiments I could find in our home: garlic, onion, green onion, chili peppers, Worcestershire sauce, salt and a liquid Japanese seasoning (The name’s written in Japanese). Then added my washed bean sprouts and cooked about a minute. Plated my dish and added a nice serving of pickled ginger on the side.
It’s my first time cooking with these ingredients and I think it came out pretty okay. Next time, tho, I will probably add something to the string beans because they came out bland since I only just blanched them in water. You can’t see me now but I’m currently eating this as I’m writing at the moment and almost done with my plate. I was craving a chocolate bar earlier but now I feel satisfied and so full I want to sleep. haha
